The Rosecliff Approach
The college admissions process is complex, with many moving parts and critical decision points. When I begin working with a family, I introduce two frameworks: one for understanding key pillars of student engagement and another for building a healthy application strategy. From there, I help families focus on the information, risks, and opportunities most relevant to their goals. My role is to simplify the process and guide students in shaping a roadmap reflective of their values, performance, growth, and the evolving realities of today’s admissions landscape.

The Roadmap in Action
01 Discovery
Begin with thoughtful conversations that uncover a student’s values, interests, strengths, and aspirations. This foundational understanding guides every decision and ensures alignment with the student’s long-term goals.
02 Engagement Mapping
Leverage the Pillars of Engagement framework to review academic choices, extracurriculars, leadership roles, and summer opportunities—focusing on depth, growth, and the alignment of these experiences with the student's aspirations and college goals.
03 List Development
Use the Matrix framework to develop an application strategy that balances fit, opportunity, and intentional alignment. This dynamic process is grounded in values, data, and an understanding of how each student can thrive and contribute to the communities they’re considering.
04 Application Guidance
Provide structure and feedback on essays, timelines, and application materials—ensuring the student’s voice remains authentic while also demonstrating strategic alignment with each college’s values, community, and opportunities.
05 Decision Support
Help families interpret admissions results, evaluate financial aid offers, and choose the path forward—ensuring confidence and clarity in every decision.
