Be Your Bold.
In terms of results produced in working with me, parents often ask for a list of colleges and testimonials. Both are below. However, because I view this process as one step on a larger life-long educational and career journey, I’ve also included post-college process stories from some of these same students.

MY APPROACH
I support students through the admissions process with clear thinking, genuine care, and strategic insight.
By combining up-to-date knowledge of the evolving admissions landscape with a deep understanding of each student’s values and goals, I guide clients in exploring choices that are both strategic and personally aligned – because no two journeys, or opportunities, are the same. The following FOUR principles shape my approach to college consulting.

FIRST. Think beyond "fit".
The path towards college is best understood as a series of choice opportunities and practical realities that unfold alongside each student's journey of self-discovery and personal growth. This perspective is important – student values and preferences should drive the college-going process. But having a strategic understanding of the admissions landscape, recognizing legitimate constraints, and knowing when (and how) to pivot in this process all matter, too.

SECOND. Reframe "the list".
We need to rethink how we approach the traditional college list. In my experience, the college journey – including the set of schools to which a student applies – is best understood as a dynamic matrix, one that becomes more or less healthy depending on how effectively the student balances fit and risk tolerance across four key dimensions.

THIRD. Reset the timeline.
The college journey is deeply embedded in the high school experience. To help students and families navigate this connection, I've developed a pillars of engagement framework. Understanding how the Matrix framework aligns with the Pillars can be especially valuable early in the high school career. That's why I aim to partner with families as early as freshman year – to help phase the college-going journey into choice structures with clear, actionable steps.

FOURTH. Own the journey.
I'm committed to providing high-quality, personalized, and supportive guidance to every family with whom I work. In return, I believe the educational and career journey should belong to the student. Families who partner with me must be willing to let their student take ownership of that journey – to live it fully and, ideally, enjoy it along the way.
