Application Boot Camp

This workshop is for rising seniors. It's designed in 3 distinct sections so that you can register for all three sections or only one, depending on your needs. Each section will include tools to organize and track your work. 

 

SECTION 1: Common Application I (main portion) + activities list (this section does NOT include in-depth work on the main essay)

SECTION 2: Common Application II (college-specific portion) + introduction to supplemental essays

SECTION 3: Additional materials: SSAR, sending test scores and/or test optional declarations + other potential requirements to be aware of

Build Your Resume

This workshop is a three-hour session for sophomores and/or juniors. In this workshop, students will explore principles for organizing the relevant information for college applications and potential jobs, they will learn how the resume connects to the Activities section of the Common Application, and they will walk away with a beginning template of THEIR resume. â€‹

Understanding Pillars of Engagement

This workshop is a two-hour session designed for freshmen and sophomores. Students will learn how colleges view different aspects of the high school experience. Students will learn methods for identifying their personal values + priorities and decision-making techniques to evaluate future choices alongside those priorities. Finally, students will explore their current areas of engagement and set goals for finding new personalized growth opportunities across all domains of learning, engagement, and contribution.
